Training – Local Action, National Impact: Celebrating the Civic Holidays for Boosting Voter Engagement

The Civic Holidays—National Voter Registration Day, National Voter Education Week, Vote Early Day, and Election Hero Day—offer partners fun and impactful opportunities to energize your communities around civic actions, and boost voter turnout by guiding voters through necessary steps to casting a ballot. 

In 2025 there will be thousands of elections at the local level, so your dedication to nonpartisan voter engagement can’t slow down now! Schools, jobs, healthcare, and your community – all are better served when more people take part in the elections that shape them. 

In this interactive training, you’ll learn how to make the most of these national days of action, especially during a state and local election year. Whether you’re new to the Civic Holidays or looking to deepen your involvement, this session will provide you with activation ideas, event planning best practices, and messaging strategies, so you can speak confidently and clearly about your state and local elections.

We’ll end the session with an interactive activity to help you get a kickstart to your plans for the year, and begin thinking through things like your target audiences, your marketing plans, and partners you can start connecting with to maximize impact with your celebrations!
