Nurses remain the most trusted profession in the nation and are fierce advocates for the health of our patients and communities. Now is the time to use this trust to bring non-partisan voter registration work into our patient conversations. The American Public Health Association and Healthy People 2030 have named voting and civic participation health indicators.
Join us for this session to discuss nurses’ role in connection voting and health. Drawing from the experiences of numerous practitioners who have participated in civic engagement work at both individual and community levels, this session will explore how nurses can impact voting, move community leadership to action, and connect civic engagement and health care synergistically. In this session, attendees will learn from experienced advocates and gain access to important toolkits, allowing them to plan efforts to effect change easily.
This webinar will have Zoom auto-captions turned on. If you need another accommodation, please let us know by emailing Marcos (marcos@vot-er.org).
